With the Intel 3000 Graphics, the Spectre can easily play
high-definition videosm but I think you may find it challenging to use this for
a gaming computer. 14-inch LED display with a resolution 1600 x 900 give you
something bigger and full HD acewwn than netbook. The Spectre provides an ample
amount of memory. The ultrabook is equipped with 8GB of RAM, more than any of
the other ones we reviewed. This allows for ultraquick startup of software
applications. As with any ultrabook, though, storage falls short as it's hard
to stack a lot of hard drive in such a small space. This computer has a 256GB
solid state drive, which is more storage than most ultrabooks have.
The Spectre is built with an Intel i5 processor that runs at
1.6GHz, with speed boosts up to 2.9GHz, and you can overclock the CPU to run at
2.9GHz, but you may have a risk, actially without modification this ultrabook
alredy quick and cooler than the other.
comes with Beats Audio, which is quickly gaining respect in
the music industry. The two speakers act as a mini-surround sound system. The
wireless options allow you to stream audio to any wireless speakers you may
have around the home using KleerNet technology. The HP Spectre has two USB
ports, one a USB 3.0, and a slot for a memory card, which is a 2-in-1 card
reader. It is also Bluetooth compatible and has a built-in mic and an HD webcam
which captures video in 720p and records accurate color. Images can be a little
grainy, but that is to be expected with webcams.
Intel requires that an ultrabook come back from sleep mode
in no more than seven seconds. The Spectre does it in three seconds and will
take you right to the startup screen so you can begin working again. This quick
startup is a great new feature to help avoid those dragging seconds when you
just want to show your friend that awesome video you found,
This laptop has the longest run time in our comparison; you
get 9 hours of battery life on a full charge. This, of course, depends on the
number of programs you are running and how much CPU usage they require. Even
with heavy use, you can get anywhere from 5 to 8 hours of use.
HP has always been efficient and helpful with its support.
This product comes with a two-year warranty and there is usually someone
available to chat live if you are on the website. HP has a large forum for
users to go on, ask questions, engage in conversation or find answers for
troubleshooting problems. Should you need drivers for your ultrabook, HP has
that covered, too, on their website.
A thin form factor sometimes means performance
suffers. This is not the case with the HP Envy 14 Spectre. This ultrabook has
superb sound and plenty of memory and hard drive space. With a glossy black
finish, it's also pleasing to the eye. Add a screen that has exquisite picture
quality, and a 3.5-pound heft, and you get a top-performing work of art.if you wanna buy this click hereHP ENVY 14-3010NR Spectre 14-Inch Ultrabook (Silver/Black)
